Data Tools Help

Data Tools are prebuilt reports you can retrieve on-demand which execute in real-time. Data Tools extracts and reports on information submitted by your users in real time. The Data Tools enable you to pull reports in order to monitor and analyze data collected on your website(s). Each data tool below has a list of bullet points explaining how to generate each report.

Using the Contact Us Data Tool

This tool provides a report of data submitted by users in a “contact us’ portlet. (Link to Contact Us portlet info) The report will display in either HTML or Microsoft Excel format.

  • Use the Choose a Module field to select which Contact Us portlet you want to retrieve a report for.
  • Use the From/End Date field to specify a start and/or end date to retrieve a subset of the data.  To receive a report with all the data, leave those two fields blank.
  • You have the option of receiving this report in either an HTML or Microsoft Excel document type.

Using the Event RSVP Data Tool

Using this tool provide a pre-defined a report of activity from the Event RSVP portlet?. To use, select the event on by clicking the drop down box next to Choose an Event.  Choose this event and then click Generate the Report.

Using Site Redirect Report

This tool reports gathered from each ‘redirect site’ portlet associated with your website.

  • Use the Choose a Module field to select which Redirect report portlet to report.
  • Use the From/End Date field to specify a start and/or end date to retrieve a subset of the data.  To receive a report with all the data, leave those two fields blank.
  • You have the option of receiving this report in either an HTML or Microsoft Excel document type.

Using the Survey Data Tool

Survey Data Tool provides a report of the data collected from surveys on your website.

  • Use the Choose a Module field to select which Survey of the report you want to retrieve information for.
  • Use the From/End Date field to specify a start and/or end date to retrieve a subset of the data.  To receive a report with all the data, leave those two fields blank.
  • You have the option of receiving this report in either an HTML or Microsoft Excel document type.

Using the User Log-in Data Tool

User Log-in Data Tool provides a report of users of the site.  This provides you with all the user profile information.

  • Use the Choose a Module field to select which Survey of the report you want to retrieve information for.
  • Use the From/End Date field to specify a start and/or end date to retrieve a subset of the data.  To receive a report with all the data, leave those two fields blank.
  • You have the option of receiving this report in either an HTML or Microsoft Excel document type.

Using the Registration Data Tool

Registration Data Tool provides you with a report of all users who registered on your site.  This report provides you with everyone who is registered on the site along with their user profile.

  • Use the Choose a Module field to select which Survey of the report you want to retrieve information for.
  • Use the From/End Date field to specify a start and/or end date to retrieve a subset of the data.  To receive a report with all the data, leave those two fields blank.
  • You have the option of receiving this report in either an HTML or Microsoft Excel document type.

Using the Site User Report Data Tool

This report presents the number of users at each Role level registered for each Web Site in an organization.  

  • From the select drop down list, choose which web sites should be included in the report. 
  • Select the report type.
  • Generate the report.

Using the Product Data Tool

The Product Data Tool allows an admin user to manage a product catalog for their web site.  Admins can manage this by Categories, Attributes or Model Years.

Using the Document Access Report Data Tool

The Document Access Report Data Tool allows admins to be able to generate a report that shows the number of hits to each file.

  • Select the type of report you would like to generate.
  • Select which site(s) you would like to generate the report from.
  • Enter a From/End date.
  • Choose the report type.
  • Generate the report.
