The Site Search Portlet is a text box which allows site users to search the site for matching content or documents by using specific words or phrases.

1- | Portlet Name: | Giving this portlet a name allows you to locate it alphabetically in your list of Site Search Portlets in the admin tool. |
2- | Short Description: | Provide a short explanation of the portlet you are creating. |
3- | Search Filter: | Used to specify the name of a CMS Dynamic List Portlet that will be used as the filter for how search results are formed. |
4- | Search Label: | content that appears next to the search box. Typically a company will use the term "Search". |
Add Site Search Portlet:
- Select Portlets; Site Search
- Select + adjacent to Portlet Actions for Site_Search.
- Name and Describe the Site Search Portlet you are adding.
- Choose if you are going to add a Search filter. If not, leave it as None.
- Enter a Search Label.
- Clock Save Info.
