This portlet is designed for adding social media icons to a website that allows users to be able to quickly access a specific social media link.  For example: A company may use a Facebook Icon to link the user directly to that companies Facebook page.

 

1- Portlet Name: Title of the portlet being created.
2- Short Description: Provide a short explanation of the portlet you are creating.
3- Select a Toolbar: Select the look of your toolbar and the icons that will be displayed.  This also includes which icons you would like in your toolbar.
4- Upload a Custom Toolbar: Use a tool bar that you have created that is not a choice above.

 

How to add a Social Media Sharing Portlet

  1. Select Portlets: Social Media Sharing.  View a summary of each Social Media Sharing Portlet set up thus far.
  2. Select + adjacent to Portlet Actions for Social_Media
  3. Enter a name and a brief description of this Social Media Portlet.
  4. Select a Toolbar that will display on your website.  You can upload a custom toolbar by using the WYSIWYG tool. 
  5. Click Save Info.
